No front brake! I agree with the other posts, front brake is crucial. I also agree with the other posts on practice, books, etc. However, there is absolutely no substitution for the MSG course. They teach you invaluable tips and techniques that you just don't think about when you teach yourself. Practicing emergenct stops and such can be very dangerous without having been taught the proper techniques especially on a bike that has been chopped so light. Anyway, I agree with the others...practice, practice, practice, but still enroll in the course as soon as it's available. Good luck
